I founded greyworld, an artist collective that creates public art around the world. Set up in 1993, greyworld have created notable works, including The Source at the London Stock Exchange, Clockwork Forest in Grizedale, Trafalgar Sun in London and Railings in a street near you..

I am Professor of Public Art at Goldsmiths, University of London and regularly lecture and speak at conferences, universities and businesses around the world on the subject of art, new media design and playing in the city. I am also an occasional broadcaster, most recently creating a programme on BBC Radio 4 about rotating and retiring public art.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and of the Royal British Society of Sculptors where I was nominated President.
